We are specified on biomechanical measuring systems to fulfil the rising clinical demands of the interdisciplinary medicine. Main focus of our research and development is the light-optical 3D / 4D spine & posture analysis, the foot pressure & gait analysis and last but not least the muscle strength measurement.

By the combination of the two measuring systems DIERS formetric 4D and DIERS pedoscan it is possible to inspect simultaneously the spinal form, the pelvic position, the pressure conditions under the feet and the body’s center of gravity. This synchronized measurement is a valuable feature for an optimal treatment e.g. with posture-correcting insoles.

The core technology of the DIERS 4Dmotion®Lab /// high performance is the unique back & spine measurement device DIERS formetric 4D, combined with video motion capture cameras for lower limbs and an instrumented treadmill to measure high speed ground reaction forces. All devices are connected for simultaneous measurements of the whole body.
